Amari (amaro, singular) are an ancient and diverse family of bittersweet liqueurs flavored with a curated blend of botanical ingredients. Traditionally imbibed both before meals as an aperitif and after meals as a digestif, the herbal aromatics of an amaro can also provide a complex and rounded way to spice up your mixology.
Brian Mazurek of The Bitter Ginger will demonstrate two cocktails built on Amari during this hands-on class – Across the Pacific using two rums in a tiki inspired cocktail, and a Boulevardier, a riff on a Negroni.
All ingredients and barware will be provided. Each participant will enjoy their own version of the cocktail highlighted in this class, in addition to a welcome beverage, snacks, and a special gift at the end.
A portion of the proceeds of each ticket is donated to the Big Sur Food and Wine Foundation to support our vibrant local community. To learn more please visit bigsurfoodandwine.org
